Up early and off to airport to get flight to LA. Review and Herald had kindly given me samples of new items, but unfortunately of the hardcover, heavy type! Suitcase way over weight limit, but the attendant let me take things out and put them in my backpack. Seems your carry-on luggage can be as heavy as you want, just has to fit the size limits...
Through the security rigmarole of shoes off, get x-rayed, liquids in clear bag, etc etc and finally get to the gate. All on time is the report so far. Get on board and are informed that there is a maintenance issue with the plane, sigh! That took an hour to fix, so finally got underway. Haven't had a good run at LAX so far...
Arrived in LA after an uneventful flight and took the Super Shuttle to the hotel in Anaheim (close to Disneyland). Had a few hours to fill, and again not a nice area to walk around in, so I headed to Disney's California Adventure.

Skipped most of the queue for Radiator Springs Racers - only benefit of being a single rider |

All up a very pleasant way to spend a few hours, even though I didn't get to do all the attractions and missed Scott and Ally lots here.
